Endure Brand Lawn Mix gives you exactly what the name says, a lawn that will endure. Endure has enough perennial ryegrass to give you the fast start you are looking for, Kentucky Bluegrass to fill in for a nice dense turf and Tall fescue to stay green when other lawns have gone dormant. Tall Fescue has an extremely deep tap-root that helps keep the plant green when other grasses have gone dormant do to heat and drought stress. Tall Fescue blades are slightly wider than Perennial rye and bluegrass but blend nicely when planted at a rate of 10 lbs/1000 sq ft. Endure will tolerate some shade and is widely used for athletic fields. Endure lawn mix should be planted in the spring or early fall to insure good root establishment to survive the first winter.

Boulevard Turf Mixture is for use in areas of extreme salinity where a high quality turf is desired. It may be used along highways, sidewalks, boulevards, on golf courses, home lawns or for general landscaping. It is useful for spot seeding into lawns damaged from slush thrown by snowplows, or other salt damaged areas.

Lawn Seed

The following is a brief description of the varieties used by Agassiz.

Bluegrass
Bluegrass is very durable, bounces back well from drought and heavy traffic. Bluegrass spreads through underground rhizomes to develop a thick, tough, root system and requires moderate care to maintain its beauty.

Creeping Red Fescue
Fescue is used intensively in lawn mixtures, for its ability to produce in shaded areas. Fescue spreads by underground runners and makes a good, uniform sod. It does well on most types of soil, maintains a good color, and can withstand wear.

Fine-Leafed Perennial Ryegrass
These grasses have the ability to produce an especially tough turf that resists wear and tear, recovers rapidly from damage, and increases the versatility of lawns for recreational purposes. Vigorous root growth penetrates even compacted soil and makes these grasses ideal for overseeding old and thin layers.

Annual Ryegrass
Coarse-leafed, but fast establishing and tough. Often used, especially in inexpensive mixtures, for quick cover and to prevent erosion on slopes. Generally lasts only one season. Very competitive with other grasses.
