Steven grew up on a farm near Miller, SD where his family raised cattle, corn, and soybeans. In 2018 Steven moved to Mitchell, SD to attend Mitchell Technical College pursuing a degree in Agribusiness. Through his last year of college, he worked at a local coop in Hartford SD. Following his college graduation in 2020 he moved to Hartford SD and worked as an Associate Representative for a Pioneer Seed Agency. There he gained experience in agronomic decisions, drone mapping and analysis, variable rate seed and fertilizer recommendations, sales, and seed and herbicide placement. In his free time Steven enjoys deer and pheasant hunting, fishing, traveling, and farming on the side.
